Found in 1993, Standart NV has been rapidly growing and already proved its strong positions on financial and IB markets. The present partners of the company completed more than 60 transactions in such sub-sectors as mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, funding, bonds and stocks, Eurobonds, capital, private equity, venture capital etc. Being professional managers and experienced financiers, Standart NV’s partners expanded their activities both in the domestic and international markets. The partners of the company within more than 17 years have been closely and successfully collaborating with the largest international banks and financial entities all over the world, have got the vital experience in carrying out large deals with such the banks and financial institutions: Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Bank, Credit Suisse, Standard Bank London, Merrill Lynch,

Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG, UBS, JP Morgan, HSBC, Morgan Stenly.

Being the representative of Berliner bank AG in Ukraine, the managing partner of Standart NV successfully represented interests of the bank on the Ukrainian market in 1993-2005. Core services were provided: the representation of the bank interest in Ukraine, the organization of business process, the bank correspondent relations setup, regional market researches, the providing international and local banks operated on a local Ukrainian market with trade finance and consulting services.

During 2003-2007 the company managing partner exclusively cooperated with Standart Bank Plc in developing the business on the Ukrainian financial market. Owing to him, Standart Bank Plc has become an absolute leader on the Ukrainian market of syndicated loans granting.

Since 1993 Standart NV has completed more than 60 transac-tions in different IB fields.

Our largest deals:

1998: the debut for Ukraine’s transaction. The eurobond issuance of 500 million EURO for Ukraine;

2003 – 2007: the syndicated loans for the top Ukrainian banks such as Ukrexim Bank, Raifaisen Aval Bank, Privat Bank, Finance and Credit Bank, Ukrprom Bank, UkrGas Bank, Forum Bank and other top 30 Ukrainian banks for a total amount of more than USD 1,5 billion (the cooperation with Standard Bank PLC);

2003: Standart NV as an advisor of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in the transaction of the Eurobond debut issue for the Kiev city authorities for a total amount of USD 150 million;

the advisory services for foreign banks (Eurobond issue UkrT-elecom, Naftogas Ukraine, First Ukrainian International Bank, Forum Bank);

the structured corporate trade finance for Zernotorgovaya kompaniya provided in two stages (USD 100 million);

securitization (Ukrexim Bank, Pravex Bank, UkrSots Bank, Nadra Bank);

Subordinated loans (Ukrexim Bank, Nadra Bank, Forum Bank).
