1971 started as a store by selling coffee beansin Seattle‘s Pike Place Market
Howard Schultz joined the company, and aftera trip to Milan, advised that they shouldsell coffee and espresso drinks as well as beans.
Expand beyond Seattle, first to the rest of theUnited States, then further a field. Starbucks becomes a publicly traded company.
