HINT: As you assemble each wedge to the next, remove excess bulk at the center before pressing open.

3 To assemble two half blocks, sew from the center outward. (Check to be sure the seams match.) If seams match, sew to the other side. Press seam open.

4 Square up the block with the Creative Grids® 12 1/2" ruler, # CGR12.

Basic Spinning Star Block

Piece width of fabric (WOF) strips together to make two strip sets. Press open. Align the A1 line on the ruler with the seam - cut around the ruler. Repeat cutting until you have 12 wedges.
