Starpoint Resort Group lists August’s best comedy shows in Las Vegas

If you can’t find a comedy club or comedian performing in Las Vegas, then you are not looking. There are comedy acts nearly every night at myriad venues around Sin City.  While there are plenty of acts you can see, Starpoint Resort Group has put together this list of the best three acts to catch this August.

Jay Leno: This “every-man” comedian is well-known for his lengthy stint hosting “The Tonight Show,” but now he’s returned to his stage roots. Cleft-chinned comedian Jay Leno will perform at the Mirage on Aug. 1, and Starpoint Resort Group says it’s not a show to be missed. Belly laughs abound as Leno casually moves from the stage and into the crowd just like he did on television. Expect him to poke fun at everything from growing older to his passion for cars and motorcycles.

Andrew “Dice” Clay: Despite the notoriety surrounding Clay, he is still wildly popular. The very first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row, Clay didn’t let his past success dull his routine. He’s back with a fresh set that shows off not only his “potty mouth,” but his discipline, talent and versatility. Starpoint Resorts Group says he will be performing at the Hard Rock Hotel Aug. 7 through 16.

Rich Little: Amazing impressions and hilarious comedy combine in comedy legend Rich Little’s set. He is bringing his impressive talents to the Laugh Factory at Tropicana Las Vegas through Aug. 23. According to Starpoint Resorts Group, you can expect spot-on impressions of such legends as John Wayne, George Burns and Jimmy Stewart during Little’s all-new autobiographical one-man show.
