being thankfulThis month emphasizes the feelings of thankfulness. I am so thankful to be a part of anamazing community that goes above and beyond each day for one another. It has been greatgetting back into the swing of things and our students are doing well. Homecoming was a great event as well as our fall festival rotations. Longview staff tookcountless hours planning and executing these events for our students and the smiles on theirfaces make it worth it. Este mes enfatiza los sentimientos de agradecimiento. Estoy muy agradecido de ser parte deuna comunidad increíble que va más allá de cada día. Ha sido genial volver al ritmo de lascosas y nuestros estudiantes están bien. This month has many ways to come and be involved in our school community. Here is theinfo:
November 5th at 9:30am is our Longview Community Council meeting. This is a meetingwith parents, myself and Longview staff to discuss global school improvement efforts,fundraising, and other topics from anyone in the group. All are welcome.November 15th at 2pm is our Drum Club performance. All are welcome to come andcelebrate our students.November 18th at 9:30am is our next Parent to Parent meeting. Group is facilitated by ourschool psychologist Matt Kamins and is a place for parents to come, talk, and supportone another. No requirements just a safe group to come listen.
Don't Forget About Conferences!
Please make sure you work with your child's teacher to set up a conference time. This isan important time to check in and learn more about how your child is doing at school andanswer your questions.Longview students will dismissed early at 1:20pm on the following days:Friday, November 8thMonday, November 11thTuesday, November 12thWednesday, November 27th
Este mes tiene muchas maneras de venir y participar en nuestra comunidad escolar.
