STARTING THE NEW YEAR

Come in 2 weeks before school starts and make sure everything works

Enter new teachers into the circulation program Set up you calendar in your circulation program As soon as you get enrollment of students enter it in your circ

program Enter students in homerooms in your circ program Print out barcodes for classes (elementary) put them in sports card

holders then in a 3 ring binder. Color code if possible (first grade green background, 2nd grade pink background)

Set up Excel spread sheets for each class so you can keep track of attendance

Get any new books ready for circulation If you are in a scheduled time get schedule worked out Hand out bag of goodies to staff
