startup in retrospection
DESCRIPTION
Everyone who achieved success in a great venture solved each problem as they came to it. They helped themselves. And they were helped through powers known and unknown to them at the time they set our on their voyage. They kept going regardless of the obstacles they met. -- W. Clement StoneTRANSCRIPT

Palm Sunday, 1973…
StartupAnother childis lost. A mysterious disease is sweeping the nation stealing children.
And there are whispers of pandemic - and fear.
In Retrospect
Conceived in Dismaywithin the confines of a
fathomless grief over the tragic loss
of thousands of children…
StartupDoctors were confounded.Parents grieved and found no answers.
And children died...and they died…
In Retrospect
Born in Commitmentin 1974 by two sets of parents
whose five year old children were victimized by a horrible monster
that terrorized children.
StartupThe National Reye’s Syndrome Foundation was founded and began to fight back.
Committed to finding answers. A reason. A reckoning.
In Retrospect
Nurtured in DedicationA grass-roots hands-across-the-
country movement began to unravel the mystery and warn other parents about the beast that
stalked their children.
StartupAfter much study, research connected salicylates, combined with viruses like flu or chicken-pox, with triggering the child killer; Reye’s Syndrome.
But there is no cure…
In Retrospect
Mature in AccomplishmentNot One More Child! is the stand,
and the mission is to eradicate the incidence of
Reye’s Syndrome
