BLACKTOWN INTERNATIONAL SPORTSPARK

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Baseball NSW has in place the following conditions for the hire of the Baseball Venue at Blacktown International

Sportspark

1. All Clubs are to treat the venue with respect. Any damage caused to any part of the venue will result in

fines being issued to the club(s) responsible.

2. BVM ground staff will prepare the ground for each game. Clubs should not interfere with, or hinder the

ground staff in the performance of their duties.

3. Clubs will be advised if there are any changes to ground allocations.

4. If any equipment (screens etc) is used while warming up, it is to be returned to where it was found. If

mats are in place on the field, leave them there. Do not throw screens over the fence.

5. Glass bottles are banned from the venue. If you bring beer into the venue, make sure it is in cans, and

remove the cans when you are finished.

6. Garbage bins are provided in each dugout, and in the change rooms. Clubs who leave rubbish in these

areas will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

7. The canteen will remain open until the completion of the game. If clubs wish to order food for after the

game, please do so as early as possible.

8. All vehicles are to park in the gravel car park behind the main diamond, or the bitumen car park near the

soccer fields. No vehicles are to park on the grass areas, or on the Roadway near Diamond 2. Council

rangers will book any cars parked in violation of Signs.

9. When warming up throw from the dirt, not the foul lines.

10. Take batting practice from the mats provided.

11. Home team is responsible for removing and replacing the cover on home plate.

12. Away team is responsible for removing and replacing the cover on the pitcher’s mound.

13. Both teams are responsible for removing and replacing the covers in their respective bullpens.

14. When leaving the venue late at night, please keep the noise down, and observe speed limits within the

venue.

Shall call AAP (9322 8000) on Sunday before the deadline for Monday papers ( 8pm) with the following

information:

o Indicate Round #, Match Up and the Ground the game was played at

o 1st grade box scores for both midweek and weekend games including the names of pitchers,

catchers and hits.

o Lower Grade scores only

Both Teams:

Send through MVP Points for each grade by 12:00pm Monday following the completion of the round.
