LESS THAN ONE IN THREE SMB RANSOMWARE ATTACKS ARE REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES.

• The most targeted industries are Construction, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and Non-Profit Organizations.

• The ransom isn’t what depletes business finances the most. It’s the downtime and data loss that cause the most destruction.

A MULTI-LAYERED FORM OF PROTECTION IS ESSENTIAL. THE COMMON ATTACK VECTORS:

CryptoLocker is the most-used form of ransomware attacking SMBs today. CrytpoWall, Locky and WannaCry are the next most common. However, new dangerous ones appear every day.

Even software applications in the Cloud are being attacked:

Software-as-a-Service applications are a growing target for ransomware attacks with Dropbox, Office 365 and G Suite at most risk.

No computer or operating system is safe:

Attacks on mobile devices, smartphones and tablets are on the rise.

No one solution can protect you.

Infections are occurring despite SMBs having Anti-Virus Software, Email/Spam Filters, Ad Blockers, and regularly updated applications.
