• 10 CSU campuses in Moodle– CSU Fullerton and CSULA announce Moodle
• CSU Moodle SCB v.1.9 will be completed June 2011– Four campuses will launch that for Fall Production– Maintenance of this code base
• Campuses will collaborate to further develop SCB• Campus needs stated (launching on 2.0; migration to 2.x)
• Target to migrate SCB to Moodle v2.0/v2.1– Roadmap to be developed

• Develop multi-campus distributed-development resourcing model
• Translate ITAC’s “VISC” collaboration model to Moodle Development
• CSU Moodle Software Development Standards
Blackboard• This is the last year of a 3 year agreement since the CSU LMS
RFP• Blackboard pricing proposal to CSU on March 11• Volume license discount into 3 total CSU FTE “bands”
– Based on Learn (LMS) licensing – Bands assume that all current campuses will stay with Bb– This is NOT going to be true– Only 9 CSU campuses committed to 2 years or more
• Discounts were offered on other products– Community/Content, Mobile, Outcomes, Analytics, etc.
• Collecting campus input and consolidating the feedback
Blackboard (con’t)• Bb Collaborate pricing shared March 18– More analysis on that to come– 18 campuses and CO use either Wimba or Elluminate
• Chancellor’s Office will reply formally to Blackboard on all proposals
• BbWorld in Las Vegas July 12-14, 2011• All campuses staying with Bb are moving to version 9.1 on
different time frames• Soon there will be no campuses on WebCT-code
LM System and SERVICES• iParadigms 3-year renewal complete• Lynda.com renewal complete• Respondus Renewal coming next– Will need campus intent to renew – Asked Respondus to include their other products
as separate price quotes• CSU Web Conferencing Collab– 8 campuses collaborating together on Elluminate– Ends Dec 31, 2011
