Dr. Hoffman received a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from SUNY Martime College at Fort

Schuyler, a M.S. in Mathematics from Adelphi University, and a Ed.D. from LaSalle University. He has

worked at SUNY Maritime since 1977, serving as a Mathematics and Computer Science Professor and

was named a Distinguished Teaching Professor in 2001. Dr. Hoffman has also served as SUNY Mari-

sional Tutor at SUNY Canton. Ms. Ding has Professional Certification as a SAS

Certified Base Programmer. She has academic membership in the Association

for Women in Mathematics and The International Group for the Psychology of

Mathematics Education.

Ms. VanderZee worked as a Youth Director, Legal Researcher, Television Corre-

Radley was previously an Admissions Intern at Canton, completed a School

Counseling Internship at Beekmantown Central School District, was a Resi-

dence Director at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, and Resident As-

sistant at SUNY Brockport.

fice of Mental Health (OMH), St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, Children and

Youth Services where she was employed as a Keyboard Specialist I. Previous to

this, she was a Mental Hygiene Therapy Aide at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric

Center.

sionals and dozens of paid and volunteer part-time student workers and ambas-

sadors. Previously, Mr. Smith was the Dean of Enrollment Management at the

University of Maine at Fort Kent, Vice President of Enrollment Management

and Marketing at Excelsior College in Albany, and Adjunct Instructor in the

School of Business (distance education).

Mr. Bogardus received his B.A. degree from St. Lawrence University where he

was an English/Philosophy double major. Mr. Bogardus developed numerous

Library Clerk II at SUNY Potsdam Crumb Library, a Tutor/Professional Tutor

and Library Aide at SUNY Canton Southworth Library, and a Licensed Real

Estate Agent at Lacy Realty, LLC in Gouverneur.

Mr. Cox received his B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam. He was previously

employed at Cornell University where he assisted in the Mann Library renova-

tion as well as other projects throughout the College of Agriculture and Life Sci-

ences. Mr. Cox also worked as a Sound Engineer in the recording studio at the

University of Maryland.

Mr. Magilligan received his B.A. in Music from SUNY Empire State College and

his M.L.S. in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. He was Out-

reach Program Coordinator at the University of the District of Columbia where

he implemented an outreach program for at-risk populations. Mr. Magilligan

was also employed as a Law Librarian at the Correctional Treatment Facility

where he directed legal research in print and database formats. He had a Fel-

lowship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in which he handled and main-

tained premier museum collections.

terim Director of Accommodative Services. Prior to her employment here at

Canton, she was a Substitute Teacher for the Children and Youth Services at

the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center in Ogdensburg and a Substitute Teacher

for the Ogdensburg City School District.

ty as she has worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the Mathematics Department

since fall 1994. Previously, she was the Math Lab Coordinator at SUNY Can-

ton.

Mr. Lallier is not a new face to the SUNY Canton community as he has worked

in temporary positions as an Instructional Support Assistant and Adjunct In-

structor in the Electrical, Construction, and Maintenance program since fall

2009. Previously, he worked as the Postmaster in Harrisville and Supervisor of

Customer Services for the Post Office in Gouverneur.

siana Tech University this fall. Ms. LeBoeuf-Davis previously worked as an

Advanced Placement Statistic Reader for the College Board’s Advance Place-

ment Program, taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Louisiana Tech University,

and has vast experience as a Clinician and a Direct Service Provider.

Potsdam Hospital. Ms. Payne Worden previously worked as a Registered Nurse

First Assistant at Mercy Hospital, an OR Staff Nurse at Warren General Hospi-

tal, and a Medical Surgical Coordinator at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

eral years ago as a part-time Instructional Support Associate. Most recently,

of the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad. Mr. Carr was previously employed

by the College Association at SUNY Canton where he worked in the Textbook

Center, Mailroom, and Campus Store.

Ms. Dolan graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a B.A. in Employment Relations

and a minor in Economics. Previously, Ms. Dolan was a regional Human Re-

sources Manager for Kraft Foods. In 2005, Ms. Dolan joined SUNY Potsdam’s

Human Resources Department as the Assistant Director and later as Director

and Assistant Vice President. In January of 2013, Ms. Dolan became the shared

Assistant Vice President. She is a member of the College and University Profes-

sional Association for Human Resources and the Society for Human Resources

Managers.

Mr. Dox received his A.A.S. in Accounting from SUNY Alfred and his B.S. in

Accounting from Clarkson University. Mr. Dox comes to us from St. Lawrence

Financial Services, and prior to this, he was Chief Student Account Clerk. Mr.

Dox is a member of numerous organizations such as the New York State Organ-

ization of Bursars and Business Administrators.

Chief of Police for the Village of Canton, he also was teaching Police Communi-

Plant Science and a Bachelor of Technology from SUNY Cobleskill in Environ-

mental Studies. Mr. Russell was previously employed as a Project Manager at

Atlantic Testing Laboratories. While at Atlantic Testing, he was responsible for

numerous projects that included providing environmental consulting services.

Many projects were performed locally at St. Lawrence University and Clarkson

University. While at SUNY Cobleskill, Mr. Russell was the Assistant College

Soccer Coach.

Ms. Scott received her B.A. at SUNY Potsdam and M.S. at St. Lawrence Univer-

sity. Ms. Scott began her career with SUNY Potsdam in May 1999. She is cur-

rently Payroll Manager for both SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam and Bene-

fits Manager only for SUNY Potsdam. Ms. Scott oversees the shared payroll

operations for Canton and Potsdam to include student assistant, college work

study, graduate assistant, and administrative payrolls. She has worked in mul-

tiple areas within HR including Affirmative Action, Recruitment, Benefits, Ori-

entation and Training.

Mr. Smith received his A.S. in Math and Science at Onondaga County Commu-

nity College and his B.S. in Environmental Science from SUNY College of Envi-

ronmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. Mr. Smith was also in

the United States Marine Corps. Prior to joining SUNY Canton, Calvin was em-

ployed as a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer at Wyeth Phar-

maceuticals, where he provided environmental health and safety technical ex-

pertise/risk management for site programs and construction projects in support

of a complex 500-acre Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing Facility.

Ms. Arsenault received her B.S. in Sports Management from Slippery Rock Uni-

versity and M.B.A. from Waynesburg University. Ms. Arsenault was the Assis-

tant Soccer Coach at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania from August 2010

until joining the staff at SUNY Canton and, during the 2012 season, was the

first assistant for both Men’s and Women’s soccer programs. Prior to this, she

was the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Hamilton College.

Mr. Gilligan received his B.E. in Wellness Management with a minor in Coach-

ing from SUNY Oswego. Mr. Gilligan comes to us from Northwood School in

Lake Placid where he was the Head Midget Hockey Coach, Boys Hockey Re-

cruiting Director, and Admissions Assistant. Previously, he was the Strength

and Conditioning Coach and Senior History teacher in the Social Science De-

partment at Northwood School. Mr. Gilligan was Assistant Coach for the

Northwood School Junior Team, Midget Team, and other teams/camps. Mr. Gil-

ligan was a member of the SUNY Oswego Hockey Team from 2003-2007 and a

member of the 2007 Division III National Championship team.

Mr. Hart received his B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Athletic Coaching

from SUNY Oswego. He received his M.S. in General/Business Management

from Elmira College. He was a Graduate Assistant for Elmira College Sports

Sports Information in Elmira, where he served as the primary contact for 17

varsity intercollegiate sports. Mr. Hart was also a Student Assistant for

Oswego State Sports Information where he assisted in the transfer of website

material to a new content management system (SIDEARM). He has campus

and field experience such as Sports Writer for The Oswegonian and Sports An-

chor for WTOP-10 TV, both in Oswego.

North Country Children’s Clinic as an OB LPN at Claxton Hepburn Medical

dent Aide at United Helpers Care. Ms. Hynes attended SUNY Canton for her

EMT certification. She is currently the EMS Captain with the Heuvelton Vol-

unteer Fire Department and a volunteer EMT with the Ogdensburg Rescue

Squad.
