Rogers Hotspots How to ConnectHotspots provide access to the Internet at various sites across

Canada. When you open your web browser at any Rogers

Hotspot, our welcome page will automatically load and prompt

you to log in. All you need is a WiFi enabled laptop to access the

Internet at speeds comparable to the high speed connection in

your home.

Hotspots are compatible with many Virtual Private Network (VPN)

solutions to provide secure access to your business applications.

To take full advantage of wireless Internet access at a Rogers

Hotspot location, you'll need the following:

Launching your browser in a Rogers Hotspot location will

automatically connect you to our login page. If you are having

some trouble, please check that:

A Wi-Fi enabled laptop

A web browser

A wireless service plan

Your Wi-Fi network card is powered on

The Service Set Identifier (SSID or Network Name ) is set to the ANY default or set to hotspot_Rogers

The WEP security is turned off

Disable any Pop-up blocker software you have installed

Getting Connected

Simply visit a Rogers Hotspot location and follow these steps below:

If you are experiencing difficulties with our Rogers Hotspot service

or cannot wirelessly connect to the internet, please contact our

technical support representatives at: 1-866-931-3282

Start your web browser ( e.g. Internet Explorer )

- it should automatically load the Hotspot

welcome page.

Click the “Connect ” button

The connection page should appear. Click the

Rogers Logo in the upper left corner to charge a

session to your existing cellular service plan.

The login page should appear. Enter your cellular

telephone number and password. Make sure that

you agree to the terms and conditions.

If you are a new user, please make sure to click

the “new user login” button to have a password

sent to your cellular telephone via SMS.
