All Beta Star sterilizers are equipped with 316 stainless steel chamber, and door. The chambers are polished to a 25Ra with easy clean rounded corners and sloping drain system. The fascia panels are 16 gauge with a #4 polish. Sanitary piping packages, load probes, bio containment seals, and mirror fi nished chambers are a few of the many options available with our sterilizers. Customization of your sterilizer can be engineered with help from our experienced staff.

SERVICE GROUPS


Our sterilization systems are designed to require less maintenance than other sterilizers and are designed with non-proprietary components to drastically reduce downtime and replacement costs. We are equipped with certifi ed service personnel providing emergency service and routine maintenance to keep you running at full capacity.

The EnviroVacTM system is Beta Star’s exclusive high performance, energy efficient, high vacuum system with water conservation features.

The EnviroVacTM system has been designed to dramatically reduce water consumption, up to 80% compared to traditional vacuum systems, during normal operation.

Its performance is not affected by normal fl uctuations in water temperature and supply pressure, thus providing a more reliable, energy effi cient system.

The EnviroVacTM provides more effi cient air removal during the pre-conditioning phase. This allows for more effective steam penetration into porous loads and enhances drying capabilities for critical applications.

Beta Star Life Science Equipment of R-V Indus-tries Inc., has re-engineered its VacUconTM High Vacuum System, a component to their autoclaves, into the EnviroVacTM, increasing its capability to reduce water utility consumption.

As companies across North America target major water utility requirement equipment to reduce negative environmental impact on our freshwater resources, Beta Star Life Science Equipment is meeting this concern through it’s EnviroVacTM product.

The EnviroVacTM, designed as a combination high vacuum and water condenser only requires a ½” water feed at minimum 20psig for all autoclaves. It combines water and electric utility savings by eliminating the need for a liquid ring vacuum pump with a separate steam/water condenser.

The EnviroVacTM high vacuum system is capable of attaining 28.5”hg on bulk sterilizers and 29.5”hg on small to medium sterilizers. The EnviroVacTM performance is not affected by nor-mal fluctuations in water temperature and supply pressure, providing a more reliable energy effi-cient system.

The EnviroVacTM provides more efficient air removal during the pre-conditioning phase allowing more thorough heat transfer for loads, and more efficient drying capability due to lower vacuum depths.

BL3 & BL4 Effluent Sterilizers

The Beta Star BL3 and BL4 effluent steam sterilizers are designed specifically for the decontamination of autoclavable materials such as hard goods, textiles,and liquids in vented containers in BL3 and BL4 biohazard areas.

All Beta Star Corporation BL3 & BL4 effluent sterilizers provide the protection youneed and the sterilization capabilities you can rely on for these critical applications.

Our design prevents harmful pathogens and viruses from exiting the sterilizer at any time during the sterilization process and are retained until the requiredsterilization exposure time has been attained.

Standard steam sterilization cycles exhaust through a heated 0.2 um hydrophobicfilter in order to prevent pathogens and viruses from exiting the sterilizer duringthe exhaust and vacuum phases of the sterilization cycles and prior to fulfillingsterilization time and temperature requirements.

The Beta Star BSL3 effluent steam sterilizers are designed specifically for the decontamination of autoclavable materials such as hard goods, textiles, and liquids in vented containers in BSL3 biohazard areas.

All Beta Star BSL3 effluent sterilizers provide the protection you need and the sterilization capabilities you can rely on for these critical applications.

Our design prevents harmful pathogens and viruses from exiting the sterilizer at any time during the sterilization process. Pathogens are retained until the required sterilization exposure time has been achieved.

Standard steam sterilization cycles exhaust through a heated 0.2 um hydrophobic filter in order to prevent pathogens and viruses from exiting the sterilizer during the exhaust and vacuum phases of the sterilization cycles and prior to fulfilling sterilization time and temperature requirements.

All Beta Star BSL3 effluent sterilizers are provided with both gravity and vacuum capabilities.

All Beta Star BSL3 effluent sterilizers are UL and CSA listed.Models are available in either single or double door configurations.

door. Each design includes software safety interlock and positive mechanical lock. Double door models are provided with pass through door systems which allow only one door to be open at any time.

R-V Industries offers Beta Star cGMP Sterilizers for the pharmaceutical market for all types of processes including saturated steam, air over-pressure, steam & air mixture, and circulating water under pressure. cGMP features can be applied to any size sterilizer in our wide array of sizes.

All Beta Star cGMP pharmaceutical sterilizers are provided with non-proprietary micro-processor controls and cycle data acquisition packages that are compliant with the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR including Part 11 Electronic Signatures, the FDA Quality Regulations, and AAMI/. ISO 111345-R-8/93 Industrial Standards for Moist Heat Sterilization. All Software is developed according to Life Cycle Methodology and GAMP4 requirements.

Beta Star’s cGMP documentation packages provide the information you need in order to validate your process in the fastest time possible and support your FDA inspections. These include validation packages for Installation Qualifications (IQ), Operational Qualifications (OQ), Performance Qualifications (PQ), and Software Qualifications (SQ) executable by either the customer or by our skilled Beta Star validation personnel.

Models are available in either single or double door configurations. Boi-containment seals are available for double door models.
