LIFT-UP FEATURE

The recessed slide latch was designed to overcome problems encountered by locked doors in schools. The compartment door can be opened from outside simply by lifting it up approximately one-half inch, (13 mm). The stainless steel latch slides out of the slot in the combination stop and keeper.
