THE Community Connection SHINGLE CREEK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER 2016 Parkside at Humboldt Greenway Homes is Growing Camden It was just over a year ago that the foreclosed lots on the Hum- boldt Greenway stood vacant and residents were listening to two potential developers for the former Humboldt Greenway proper- ties. The winning developer partnership was awarded by the city to Greater Metropolitan Housing Corp., My Home Source and Kinzie Real Estate Group. Ground was broke in late November 2015. A model home was available to tour on the Spring Home Tour in 2016. According to its facebook page, 6 homes had sold as of May 9, 2016. In June 2016, the developers were seeking to change the townhome plots into single family lots. Things are growing in the seven neighborhoods of Camden.
