Step 2 – Check: Confirming grades Students with no marks in the Mark Centre will be listed DNS – Did Not Submit, while students with zero marks will be listed as ZER – 0 Mark Valid Attempt.

Students with these marks are highlighted in yellow with a yellow arrow icon and will appear at the top of the grid. You will need to confirm any students with no marks or zero marks, before you can override grades and proceed to Step 3. (Refer Figure 1.)

Confirming grades for one student

Choose “View details” for the required student. (Refer Figure 2.)

Confirming grades for multiple students

Click the icon with the yellow arrow. (Refer Figure 4.)

Figure 4 Click the yellow arrow icon to confirm marks.

The Confirm No Mark Reason page displays. All students with the reasons DNS (Did not submit) or

ZER (Zero mark) will be listed.

Note: Any changes to these marks must be completed in the Mark Centre.

Confirm an individual mark

To confirm an individual student’s mark, click the Confirm button.

Confirm multiple students

Select the check boxes to the left of the required students’ names

Choose “Confirm Selected”.

Confirm by assessment task

Choose the required task from the drop-down assessment filter list.

Click (filter icon).

The students with DNS or ZER for the selected assessment task display.

Figure 7 Select the required filter from the drop-down list.

Select the checkbox for the required students, or choose Select All.

Choose Confirm selected.

Clear the filter to display all remaining unconfirmed student marks.

Continue confirming student marks as required.

Note: All Did Not Submit and Zero marks must be confirmed before you can view the grades.

Choose (Save).

Choose (Back) to return to Step 2.
