Step by step explanation- Titling, Editing shots

The first thing we did was to drag the selection of the shot from the timeline and place it into the area below which allows us to edit the shot

We then improved the brightness and contrast to make sure that all of our shots were of a high quality and to make the colours stand out more.

This was also another very important thing that we had to do to our shots, eliminate any background noise so that the music playing in the background wasn’t affected by any other noises.

We also stabilized some of our shots. Although we did want a ‘shaky effect’, we didn’t think that this was appropriate for every shot

We also used fast forward for one particular shot as we did a time lapse and so we used this tool to speed it up.

At the end of our opening, we have a shot of a door which looks as if it is closing and opening by itself, the way e did this was by used in ‘Rewind’ tool.

Titling

For our titling, we wanted to use a font that had a spooky effect to it and therefore we used a font provided by iMovie.

We finally chose this font as we felt that this font helped to create a spooky atmosphere and fitted in well with the shots that we had.
