3. Click ‘Application for Full-Time 2-Year Nitec Courses for Jan 2019 Intake’hotspot.
4. Click icon to link to the application web site.
5. Click ‘2-Year Nitec Courses (JIE ‘N’)’.a) Enter NRIC / FIN and Date of Birth to start application. b) Upon completion of application, applicants will receive their web ID
and password.

Instructions to Secondary School Teachers for N(A)*/N(T) School Leavers who Did not Apply after Main Phase Application [(X+4) Day]
• All N(A)*/N(T) school leavers are encouraged to apply during the 1st Phase (Main Phase) between day of release of GCE ‘N’ results at 2.30pm to 20 Dec 2018 at 5pm.
• Secondary School Teachers will contact N(A)*/N(T) school leavers who did not apply during the 1st Phase (Main Phase) after 20 Dec 2018 to • Remind/Encourage them to apply online during the 2nd Phase (Late
Application/Appeal Phase) between 28 Dec 2018 and 2 Jan 2019.
• Their application results for 2nd Phase (Late Application/Appeal Phase) will be known on 9 Jan 2019 at 9am.
• Unsuccessful applicants can appeal under the 3rd Phase (Final Top-up Phase)between 11 Jan 2019 and 5 Feb 2019 for courses with vacancies.
*N(A) school leavers who are not eligible to progress/repeat in MOE schools.

Further Support after JIE
For N(A)/N(T) school leavers who are not enrolled in any course through all JIE application phases and identified to require further support, social service agencies may contact them.

Annex A: Progression to Higher Nitec Courses
• Nitec graduates, who meet the Minimum Entry Requirement (MER) for Higher Nitec courses, can apply through the Nitec Progression to Higher Nitec intake exercise (NCHN).
• ITE offers a wide range of full-time Higher Nitec courses in the following areas at the three colleges.
• The attachment in slide A2 details the mapping of the Nitec courses to the Higher Nitec courses for progression. An extract is shown in the slide.
