Stephanie Hui Merchant Banking Hong Kong tephanie is head of the Merchant Banking Division (MBD) in Asia Pacific. She serves on the Partnership Committee, Asia Pacific Management Committee, MBD Corporate Investment Committee, Global Diversity Committee and Asia Pacific Diversity Committee. Stephanie is also on the Board of Advisors of Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $500 million commitment to narrow the gender investing gap. She initially joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as a financial analyst. Stephanie worked in the Principal Investment Area in New York and then transferred to Hong Kong in 1997. She left Goldman Sachs in 1998 to attend graduate school, rejoined the firm as an associate in 2000 and became an executive director in 2003. Stephanie was named managing director in 2006 and partner in 2010. Stephanie serves on the boards of Icon Cancer Care in Australia and Inner Mongolia Fuyuan Dairy in China. She is also a member of the Board of Governors of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, the Board of Directors of Save the Children Hong Kong and Honorary Trustees of The Women's Foundation. Stephanie earned an AB in Biology, summa cum laude, from Harvard College in 1995 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2000. S
