Manpower Planning is divided into

two:

1. Qualitative Analysis (Job Analysis):

Job analysis is a study of job content to

determine human requirements

i. Job Description: is the study of the job

duties and responsibilities to determine human

abilities required for execution

ii. Job Specification: is the study of the

minimum acceptable human qualities necessary to

perform a job properly

2. Quantitative Analysis

It means to ensure a fair number of personnel in each department and at each level

2. Recruitment

Identification of different sources of

personnel and stimulating them to apply for jobs in the organization

Process of choosing and appointing the right persons for

Placement refers to putting the right person on the right job. Orientation means introducing every selected

job which is better in terms of status

or prestige.
