Steps to use E-learning facility

Building secured against unauthorized entry during non-school hours.

• Select a hardware. Look for additional specifications required.
• Place the order to the concerned person
• Apply for RILM Grant
• Check the necessary details given below
Important :
We request you to use our shortlisted software companies because the quality has been thoroughly checked by our National Committee Members. The prices have been negotiated and it is much lesser than the market price. Please do not get allured by free Softwares that are available in the market along with Hardwares. You should not compromise with the future of the children of our country. We also request you to inform us if you come across any quality software in local language at this price. We may include them in our list in future.

A club can choose any the combinations available. Like,
(We are awaiting the compatibility test results between Educomp and Egate and Tirubaa.) The applicants are free to choose hardware and software vendors other than RILM suggested ones. If they come up with better ones, RILM can use it for future reference.

The expected cost of E-learning installation (as payment to the vendors) is Rs. 30,000 - 40,000/- per centre.
RILM will share Rs. 10,000/- of the total cost.
The payment for the software-hardware combination is a one time affair. The amount will be paid to the Software Company selected.
The Club/District should encourage beneficiary schools to contribute at least Rs. 10,000/- from their local fund / Gram Panchayat. This gives them a buy-in into the program and maintenance of the E-Learning facilities.
The remaining amount should be arranged by Club/District. The Club/ District should encourage other organizations such as corporate houses, educational trust, known NRIs, relatives of Rotarians, school alumnus and other individuals.
FINANCING THE E-LEARNING PROJECT:
The whole transaction will take place through the Software companies. The details of the vendors are attached herewith for the clubs to place the order. The products should reach the recipient within 7-15 days of the order placed. The product will be delivered only after the full payment. The software training will be provided by the content developers.
