The Portuguese women are said to have moustache, beard and a single eyebrow

False - The Portuguese women don´t have mustache, beard or a

single eyebrow. There are very pretty women in Portugal. Many Portuguese

women are beauty icons.

The Portuguese smell like bacalhau, because they only

eat cod fish

False - Is true that we eat a lot of cod fish, but the Portuguese cuisine

has a very large diversity of dishes that allows our visitors delicacies worthy

of the gods. And no, we do not smell like cod fish and we are a

very hygienic people.

False/True - In some regions of our country some men do indeed

wear big sideburns, but most Portuguese men do have a "clean" face.

Fado singers.

True – Portuguese people are peaceful and kind. In 1974 we had a revolution (revolution of the carnation flower), made by the military.

During this revolution there was no firing of any weapon and no one got killed .

During a soldier parade, a woman from the people offered the soldiers carnations to put at the end of their guns, which they did.

crisis. Portuguese employees are actually very versatile and work

extremely well and we are very well seen internationally.
