BETHEL - An Impressively designed family of fix-tures for highly efficient outdoor fighting. Bilateraladjustable reflectors allow selection of the light dis-tr ibution pattern you want for specific requirements.Options give it great versatility, especially for con-trolled illumination. A louvered enclosure, for exam-ple, provides maximum lighting In an up-and-down-the-street rectilinear pattern while controlling Ughtspill within the width of the street. At the same time, the louvers make the light source itself nearly invisi-ble and eliminate just about all glare. It's Ideal forwal kways and roadways.Mounting heights range from 71f2 ' to 40' with theother dimensions kept in proportion; wattage rangesfrom 100 watts up to 1000; and poles take from oneto four luminaires. This wide variety in design, be-sides the illumination-control options, gives BETHELthe adaptability for answering a broad scope of archi-tectural and performance requirements.

Photometric FlexibilityWattage ranges from 100 up to 1000watts. Two-piece semi-specular Alzak reflectors, in all but 1~O-wattsize,are field-adjustable for selection of standard I.E.S. patterns: and each piece can be adjusted separately forillumination cutoff on either side. These adjustable reflectors. used with a clear frosted acrylic lens, providea very high degree of photometric control. Optional louvers direct the light in a rectilinear "roadway" pattern.Louvers also tend to hide the light source and to eliminate glare. The BETHELuses mercury, metal halide, high-pressure sodium, and incandescent lamps. (Photometric tables for precise fixture and mounting height selec-tion will be found in SECTION 14, Technical Information.) Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed U.L.and N.E.C. requirements; all fixtures bear the I.B.E.W. label.
