I was in Palo Alto California today, the home of Apple Computer. I was driving down University Avenue and saw a store window covered with Post-It notes. As I drove by I saw it was the local Apple Computer Store. The Post-It notes were all tributes to Steve Jobs. It was touching and amazing to see the personal connection he had created with so many people whom he had never personally met – all through his powers of innovation and creation.

I want to share a small bit of this with you.

Lance

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” —Commencement address, Stanford University, June 12, 2005

‘Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me.… Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful— that’s what matters to me.’ —CNNMoney/Fortune, May 25, 1993
