Resident Assistant 04/2011 to 05/2012 Intensive training was received on: diversity, program planning and community building in order to initiate and plan social and educational programs targeted to the specific needs of residents that aligned with the values of the university, while creating open relationships built on trust between the Resident Assistants and the students. Competitions based on teamwork and collaboration skills were organized between each of the university’s resident halls to allow each group of resident assistants to work together as a team while highlighting their individual strengths in order to develop a winning strategy. A safe and comfortable living environment for the 36 students directly supervised—and 432 students indirectly supervised—living in the residence hall was achieved.
