  • REVELATION 21:1-6 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8:00 AM & 9:30 AM

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heavenand the first earth had passed away, and there was no longerany sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming downout of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressedfor her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the thronesaying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and Godhimself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe everytear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning orcrying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 Hewho was seated on the throne said, “I am making everythingnew!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words aretrustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alphaand the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I willgive water without cost from the spring of the water of life.

    MARK 14: 3-9 (NIV) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 11:00 AM

3 While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home ofSimon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of veryexpensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar andpoured the perfume on his head. 4 Some of those present weresaying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume?5 It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages and themoney given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly. 6“Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? Shehas done a beautiful thing to me. 7 The poor you will alwayshave with you,[b] and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. 8 She did what she could. Shepoured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for myburial. 9 Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preachedthroughout the world, what she has done will also be told, inmemory of her.”
