FAST, ACCURATE ANDPORTABLE3D Progress is the ultimate solution for digital impression.

The Intra Oral scanner 3D PROGRESS acquires digital data in the oral cavity, directly reading the morphology of the tissues, without the use of spray opacizers.

3D Progress reduces the work time: in this way you will visit more patients and offer them more comfort.

The scanning procedure is very easy and intuitive: the handpiece is freely moved in the mouth without the need of a specific distance from the teeth. You can acquire by touching the surface of the tooth, or up to 2 cm away without losing information or decreasing the resolution of the final model.

3D progress is portable thanks to its weight of less than 700 grams; it is connected to a laptop via a USB cable and can be carried anywhere with absolute ease.

The 3D Progress system produces STL files compatible with all open CAD software. As the acquisition is done, the STL files can be sent directly to your lab.

TECHNOLOGYThe technology (and patents) of the 3D Progress system is the Confocal Microscopy combined with the detection of the effect Moiré. Thanks to the capabilities of the Smart Pixels sensor, the intraoral scanner is able to acquire 3D volumetric digital data of approximately 10 x 10 x 18mm (about the size of a tooth) in less than 1/10 second.

The average scanning speed is 10-20 scans per second. This very fast acquisition rate allows a real-time 3D acquisition, with a feeling very similar to a video camera rather than a traditional Dental scanner.

The special optic can reach the most remote and hidden areas of the oral cavity by simply changing the orientation of the scanner during the acquisition. Typically, you can capture a half arch in 60 seconds. The data collected are shown in real time on the computer screen and can be examined without touching the computer or using the mouse. Thanks to an internal accelerometer, the dentist will be able to rotate, move and zoom the scanned model with a simple movement of the scanner.

SOFTWARE 3D PROGRESSThe scanner 3D Progress gives to dentists and dental technicians an advanced system to manage the workflow from the digital impression to the production of the 3D model thanks to Model Creator1 add-on.The software is simple and intuitive: it suggests you the workflow for intraoral scanning with 3D Progress and allows you to export the STL files a few steps.

• Sound feedback during scanning• STL Accuracy, which gives you a high accuracy of the scanned surface• No more preparation errors thanks to Undercuts Control Technology (fig. 1)• STL immediately available• Possibility to integrate the Model Creator1 (fig. 2)• No annual license fees (optional updates available)• Digital scan of traditional impression (fig. 3)• Flipping digital scanning through 3D Progress software (Fig. 4), not to miss the digital workflow even in

more complex cases

The MHT - High Medical Technologies project started in the 90s, with the aim of developing a technology to measure the color of teeth for restorative treatments, to give to the dental lab a system to produce a chromatically correct prosthesis, harmonized into the patient’s mouth. Today SpectroShade is considered the benchmark in cosmetic dentistry. In 2008 MHT starts the research for a new technology for Digital impressions, to replace the traditional impression and offer a fully digital approach to dental CAD CAM workflows. In 2012 started the production and market of the 3-D Intraoral Scanner 3D Progress, which meets the favor of the market for its unique features of portability, speed and precision. Furthermore it does not need opacifier powders for reading the tooth surface.

MHT factory is located in Verona, employing skilled personnel, capable of assembly and testing of optical components with the necessary expertise and competence. The technical support of MHT is fast and effective in managing all activities of after-sales, from training to service.

The company is certificated:

Our mission: “To create practices and protocols for modern dentistry; simpler processes and communications mean better results, greater patient satisfaction and reduced risks.”
