EGGER Laminate is made up of a decorative paper on the surface and multiple layers of kraft paper in the core. The laminate sheet must be fabricated (bonded) to a suitable substrate (normally chipboard or MDF).
Due to its multilayered construction, EGGER Laminate is the perfect material for medium to high traffic areas or where a hard wearing surface is required, such as counter tops, doors, reception desks and a whole host of other interior and shopfitting applications. Also, an ideal solution for curved surfaces or rounded profiles.
Your highly durable surfacing option,
for both curved and straight applications.

Compact Laminates have a multilayer structure. They are produced by bonding a fibrous core, together with melamine impregnated decor papers, under high temperature and pressure to create a self-supporting panel from as thin as 6 mm.
This makes it particularly suitable for areas where there may be an extra requirement for hygiene standards and enhanced moisture resistance such as in bathrooms, sanitary facilities and changing rooms.
The combination of durability and sleek design make Compact Laminate so interesting for a variety of solutions within the commercial interiors market, from desks in offices to vanity units in hotel bedrooms.

When details matter.EGGER edging is designed for covering the exposed edge of our wood based panels which offers a sleek, yet robust decorative finish. We provide both edging to match the board as well as accent edging to focus on the edge as a design feature.
Edging
ABS EdgingABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) is a chlorine-
free thermoplastic edge that has a positive ecological
balance. ABS Edging is made by extrusion or, for the
finest thicknesses, using the calendaring process. It is
available in a variety of widths and thicknesses specifically
manufactured to achieve the best match with coordinated
products.
Areas of application ABS Edging is particularly resistant to impact, abrasion and
heat. It ensures a greater longevity for the edges of boards.
The type of material and production techniques require each
decor to be duplicated so as to obtain the best possible
colour/aspect match with the melamine faced boards.
Accent EdgingThe Accent Edging in the EGGER Decorative Collection shows
how the edge detail can take centre stage, for little effort or
cost.
End-grain EdgingThe End-grain Edging has the look and feel of sawn timber,
complete with its annual rings, for a highly authentic
result. They are available in several decors chosen for their
highly natural wood effect, and perfectly complement the
Feelwood textures.
The quality of EGGER Edging is characterised by→ the smooth, harmonious finish on the edges thanks
to edges that are coloured throughout the whole
thickness,
→ its extra durability through the application of a
protective lacquer on all decors, including on uni
colours,
→ its bonding performance thanks to a lightly coloured
primer on the back of the edge to ensure a regular
application along the length of the roll. The colour
disappears during processing.

Protecting the environment begins with
sustainable forestry.
Conserving resources is a top priority for EGGER. In fact it forms part of our core values. We achieve this by promoting sustainable forestry and through integrated plants, energy generation in our own biomass power plants, state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and environmentally friendly logistics systems.
Through the material and thermal use of wood in a closed cycle, we reduce CO2 emissions that are harmful to the environment.
Save time and hassle when tendering or collecting documents for green public procurement and green building schemes. Verified, transparent environmental information on the product is readily available in our EPDs.

All processes surrounding our sustainable philosophy are efficiently linked in an environmental cycle.
Biogenic fuels, which can no longer be
used materially, are turned into heat
and green electricity by us in our own
biomass power plants.
To continually improve our environmental
performance in the production process, we select
internationally certified energy and environmental
management systems in accordance with
ISO 50001, ISO 14001 and EMAS.
Recycled wood, consisting
of waste wood from
disposed goods and those
not fit for sale, is prepared
and used for chipboard
production.
At our sawmill in Brilon, every
year 800,000 cubic metres
of spruce and pine logs from
sustainable forestry are
used. Sawmill by-products
are directly processed further
in the woodbased materials
production.
We provide full transparency through
Environmental Product Declarations
(EPDs). They give end customers important
information about environmental and health
aspects – for each of our core products.
We act responsibly with regard to forests and the
environment and are certified according to PEFC and
FSC®, depending on the availability of the wood. In
accordance with the EU Timber Regulation, EUTR, we
only buy timber in a region from monitored suppliers.
