Infinity 2011 presents a fantastic dayand night of entertainment based onand around the Tees near the iconicInfinity Bridge.
Beginning at 9am, the Tees Regatta will see excitingraces that all spectators can enjoy, including theinaugural Community Boat Challenge Final.
In the evening, a stunning visual display will animatethe Infinity Bridge. Visitors will be entertained bymusicians and mobile fire and water structures.

Cycling FestivalCome along to the Stockton CyclingFestival to get moving on two wheels!In collaboration with Velo29
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th JulySaturday 16 July sees the Sportive Challenge – a mass participation, non-competitive event inwhich participants of any standard can sign up to ride over one of three courses, choosingdistances from 30 up to 100 miles.
The following day, Sunday 17 July, will feature a series of ‘criterium’ races – competitive events forall ages and abilities on a closed road circuit around Stockton’s Riverside – as well as an elite race.
There will be lots of opportunities to get on two wheels, or even one, on Sunday with interactive biketry-outs with Get Cycling, learn to unicycle, try-out BMX riding, take in the 8 Bridges Cycleway on afamily friendly guided ride, and get your bike checked over by Dr Bike! There’ll be plenty of chanceto get advice from Sustrans staff from The Hub on bike
choice, what to wear, the routes available inStockton, pedal your way to a fruit
smoothie, and get stuck in onthe virtual bike challenge.

The 24th StocktonInternationalRiverside Festivalpromises to be the mostentertaining so far, with magicalperformances from around the globe.
A vibrant mix of music and dance, the spectacular community carnival and some weird andwonderful street theatre – all make SIRF one of the highlights of the North East event calendar.
This year, SIRF showcases acts including Voala Project which takes a giant kaleidoscopicmobile suspended 100 feet above the ground, 13 daredevil aerial acrobats, live rock musicand world-class pyrotechnics in “Muare” - celestialFlower Power for 2011.

8 days of river based watersportactivities, with taster sessions in everything from powerboats
to canoes.
The festival kicks off with thetriathlon, and ends with the highprofile, televised River Rat Race.
Mini: 250m ‘pool’ swim - 13k cycle - 3k run (ideal for first timers and anyone wanting to take up the triathlon challenge)
Sprint: 750m ‘river’ swim - 24k cycle - 5k run
Standard: 1500m ‘river’ swim - 40k cycle - 10k run
