The $200 million project Storrs Center will consist of five total parts, with Town Square, Market Square and

Village Street making up the commercialized sections. There will also be a residential and a conservation area on the outskirts of the town. The project is

estimated to cost over $200 million.

Mansfield Downtown Partnership, a non-profit organization located in the Town of Mansfield, is the main architect of Storrs Center, while Leyland Alliance, a New

York-based contracting company, is responsible for development of the downtown.

Town Square

Town Square, the first of the three commercialized sections, is scheduled to be completed in the spring. Over 10 stores and restaurants have signed contracts to locate to Town Square, most notably Wings Over Storrs. Each building will be two or more levels high. The bottom floor will consist of restaurants, businesses and retail, while the upper levels will be mostly for-rental apartments and studios.
