STORYBOARD Robbie Dale

• When I started to plan my trailer I began to design this storyboard to help me focus my thoughts .

• This storyboard allowed to create a basic layout for my trailer, as such my trailer developed as I encountered  limitations with the technology I had access to.

 

Also my class and I agreed that a few of my shots did not fit my chosen genre and did not complement the mise en scene.

These problems and developments then led me to a revised version of my trailer and, therefore, made this storyboard only capture the barest amount of my finished trailer.

Nonetheless you can still see key shots from my storyboard being carried over to the finished product. 

However the use of a storyboard is not to show the finished product, but to give the director an idea of what he is trying to capture on film and things will always change whether intentionally or not.
