Senior Management Team

Stephen StottStephen is the Managing Director of the Company. He has spent much of his working career in recruitment. In 2000, he was recruited by Foreign & Colonial and Laurence Rosen as Director for a substantial start-up called Huntress Search. Stephen was thrice promoted, eventually to Managing Director at board level and was responsible for adding £60 million to the Company’s revenues by 2007. In 2005, the Company was entered into a MBO, facilitated by Nomura PE, at a valuation close to $105m. In 2009, after 11 years with Huntress, Stephen made the decision to start his own Company and persuaded Laurence to join him in investing in the new enterprise.

Laurence RosenAfter 20 years as Managing Director/CEO, Laurence left the employment of Alfred Marks (Adecco) in 1986 and launched Office Angels Limited. Laurence sold that Company with a valuation of £52m in 1990 and remained as CEO/Chairman until 1998. He was approached by Foreign & Colonial to start up Huntress Group Limited with funding of £5m. Huntress was formed in April 2000 where he recruited Stephen Stott, who led the development of Huntress’s technical and IT business. Laurence, as Stott & May’s Chairman, works in the business on a part time basis, though is fully involved in directing strategy and financial matters and acts as an ‘éminence grise’ and mentor to Stephen and his team.

Giles DanielsGiles is the most recent appointment to the board. He has twelve years pan-EMEA experience in the Executive Search, Search and Selection and Contingent Recruitment Markets.  His main focus is business critical hires with a basic salary of between £90k and £150k. Giles is responsible for all of the permanent delivery practice and maintains a responsibility for the overall strategic development of sales recruitment.

Sourcing Methods

• We use both traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods to uncover passive candidates

• We cover the market thoroughly through research and headhunting, ensuring you have access to the best candidates with the desired skillset, not just the best available ‘active’ candidates

• As most Stott & May Consultants have over 6 years dedicated recruitment experience within their vertical industry, we have unrivalled networks of candidates who are not available to the open market or other agencies

• We target the candidates that don’t come to you, working in synergy with internal recruitment teams to ensure we don’t duplicate efforts

Traditional Methods

• Database Search

• Networking

• Job Boards

• Advertising

• Conferences

• Assessment Centers

Non-Traditional Methods

• Social Media including Facebook and Twitter

• Headhunting via LinkedIn (not messages/InMails)

• Search Engines including mainstream and semantic/deep web exploitation using advanced boolean techniques

• Spider Tools and X-Ray Searching

• Blogs, Communities, Forums and Groups

Page 18: Stott & May Presentation

Database Search

We use Bond Adapt – an International software specialising in software & support for the global staffing industry. Adapt is regarded as the benchmark sourcing agency software solution and is used in some form by a vast majority of the world’s leading recruitment or sourcing agencies.

Adapt goes further than most recruitment agency software systems : It provides recruitment/sourcing consultancies of all sizes with the optimum tools to manage their present business and confidently plan future success – while staying ahead of technology trends.

We currently have a database of over 250,000 live candidates, and with the networks of the staff increasing on a daily basis, this number is in its infancy. With the additional functionality that Bond Adapt provides us, we are also able to utilise the system to get the most relevant and applicable high calibre candidates to you in the most time efficient manner.

Campaign Based Sourcing Methods

It is necessary, at times, to adopt a more focussed approach to sourcing suitable candidates. If a role has a rare or niche skill set, or a large number of candidates are required within a specific time frame, then a sourcing strategy utilising the most appropriate method of sourcing needs to be devised. We have directed and conducted many successful sourcing campaigns at the behest of our clients, many where we have combined the use of our database/ networks with some of our other methodologies in order to provide the solution.

Exclusive partnerships/ Retained Search

This service involves:

• Retained search, guaranteeing the commitment of our consultants until the assignment is completed.

• Utilisation of an established network of candidates throughout the industry

• Full consultation at every stage of the sourcing process, making expectations realistic at all times.

• Strict internal working practices assure adherence to best practice

Testimonials

Please see below for an example of the calibre of consultants we currently have sourcing for Stott & May:

“I rarely throw compliments around as many people seem to be doing similar and surface-scratching work these days (CDS, popular and raving methods and frameworks, or LinkedIn anyone). I save my words for the best people around.

To the point: Daniel is very, very good. To find some integrity, sense of humour and deep understanding of the marketplace all rolled into one is unusual, absolutely worth pursuing and certainly refreshing. He is keen to help you, all those traits you will not find easy.

I would not watch movies when looking for great negotiation skills either, he lives it day in and day out in the realm of a world that matters to you.

I have no doubt recommending Daniel for his skills, your next hiring or career move. He bridges gaps and connects people. He is not your usual consultant, far from it. If you need intelligence beyond the surface of inferred information, connect with him.

High Frequency Systems Architect at Tier 1 Investment Bank

“Daniel is to the average recruitment consultant what Goldman's high frequency platform is to a phone-wielding broker. His portfolio reads likea who's-who of the City, his rare ability to dissect even the largest organisation's recruitment needs and his determination to deliver "thebest to the best" has very few peers in the industry.”

Quant Developer / Technical Architect at Leading UK Hedge Fund

“Warwick is a diamond in the rough of IT recruitment. I've spent the last five years as a hiring manager for one firm or another and can count on one hand the number of recruiters I would choose to work with.

I find him professional, polite with and non-pushy. He puts forward quality candidates for my roles, who generally get hired or at least to the final rounds. This makes a change from the 'carpet bomber' recruiters who pollute my inbox in a daily basis.

I have no hesitation in recommending Warwick and look forward to working with in the future.”

Vice – President at Tier 1 Investment Bank

Page 25: Stott & May Presentation

Testimonials

“I'll surely endorse Louise as a tremendously effective, skilful and fast paced professional in identifying the market/industry demand and picking up the proper talent at proper time. I'm really impressed with her way of managing things and attitude towards ERP industry”

SAP Practice Lead – Leading Global SAP Consultancy

“Tim truly strives to find the highest calibre candidates for whatever the role maybe. His "can-do" attitude is vital for sourcing the right person for the job no matter how the markets are, he'll always get the right person. It's always a pleasure to work with Tim as he makes himself so approachable which is so refreshing.”

Senior Consultant – Leading Global Technology & Infrastructure organisation

“Ryan’s technical understanding of the market he deals with is, for a recruiter, extremely impressive, to the point where I sometimes wonder why he doesn’t become a consultant himself. Aside from this fact he is excellent at what he does, a great guy to get on with and I see him as more of a friend than my recruiter. I would have no problem with recommending him to anyone.”

ODI/ETL Manager – Global Retail Organisation

“The greatest quality that I always appreciated in Louise was her steadfastness. Because of her tenacity and persistent focus, we were able to scale up our SAP Practice in Europe. ARM's focus on building a long-term relationship with Infosys paid rich dividends in they being appointed as a strategic sourcing vendor for our ERP programs across Europe - I would give due credit to Louise for making this happen.

I would definitely recommend her as a top performer and as a great hire having the ability to work under pressure and deliver in a diverse cultural setting.”

Senior Bid Manager / Head of Recruitment – Global SAP Consultancy

Page 26: Stott & May Presentation

Testimonials

“During the last two years, Sofia has been my point of contact for both my own contract overseas and as a recruiter for my staffing needs.

Sofia is a total professional, acting with diplomacy where necessary and skilfully balancing the needs of both her organisation and the Client. Sofia can be depended on to keep me regularly updated during difficult times, and out of normal office hours if it is more convenient to me. In addition, Sofia keeps in touch during the life of a contract, something that a lot of Agencies neglect to do.

All in all I would recommend Sofia as a reliable, discreet and trustworthy person with whom I would have no hesitation in working with in the future”

Operations manager – Global Technology Organisation

“I have worked with Priti for a number of years and cannot speak highly enough of her. As an Account Manager she is extremely organised and always determined to find the right solution for her client. She offers exceptional level of customer service at all times and I would recommend her to any clients looking to improve their Resourcing process”

Senior Manager – UK Retail Bank

“I have been consistently impressed with the level of candidates supplied by Andrew for a wide variety of roles within a variety of our different projects. Andrew has taken time to understand our business and this has led to many successful placements. He has taken time to build healthy business relationships and I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to any other client and will certainly use him again in the future.”

Senior Manager – Leading Insurance Organisation
