Protect the lifeline of your electricand electronic products by absorbingthe forces of pull, push and twist thatmay be exerted on the flexible powercord. These nylon strain reliefs securelyanchor, insulate and protect cables at

chassis entry points.Available in both black and white for

flat or round cables. Sizes range frommounting hole diameters of .375 up to1.187, and with maximum chassis thicknesses from .040 up to .281.

Add reliability, longevity and safety toyour product. These are designed toabsorb flex in addition to forces of pull,push and twist like a standard strainrelief. A flared "trumpet" exit prevents

sharp bending. Use in place of the pig-tail, when space is at a premium.

Available in black and white nylon forboth flat and round cables. Mountinghole diameters range from .375 to .625.

Providing the same protection foryour cable as the straight-thru, the rightangle strain relief allows the cable toexit flush against the chassis, savingspace and directing the cable parallel tothe chassis. Excellent for use where

space is limited. Also acts as a back orbottom bumper.

Available in black and white nylon forflat and round cables. Mounting holediameters from .437 to 1.093, and chassis thicknesses from .062 to .125.

STRAIN RELIEF BUSHINGS CONTINUED

PIGTAIL™

Pigtail strain reliefs (one with an integral nylon spring and the other with aseparate metal spring) offer the samefeatures as bell-mouths but are intendedfor use where flex protection is critical.The long spring section eases the cableinto a gentle curve, prohibiting sharpbends and assuring the longest cableand product life.

The all-nylon pigtail is available inblack and white, the nylon and metal onlyin black. Both are only available for roundcable applications.

Made of plated steel, exclusively forround cables. These absorb pull forceonly (to help meet UL and CSA require-ments). Easily assembled (with recom-mended hand pliers) to wire and cablesinside the chassis.

SNAP AND SHORTY BUSHINGSThese nylon bushings convert raw-

edged holes to smooth, neat, insulatedones. Special locking "fingers" allow thebushings to snap into holes with fingertippressure. Mechanically protect, insulate,and isolate telecommunications and electrical cables, tubing, hose, rope, utility lines, as well as low RPM shafts and push-pull rods.

Snap bushings are available in 54 sizesfor use in 1/4" to 4" diameter holes.

Chassis thicknesses range from .040 to.250. Stocked in both black and whitenylon. Three sizes are also available inbrass colour for lamp and lighting applications.

Shorty bushings are used for limitedinternal clearance (minimum 1/8") applications. They all have a maximumchassis thickness of .062. Available inblack or white nylon for 16 standard mounting hole diameters.

UNIVERSAL BUSHINGS

OPEN/CLOSED BUSHINGSA black nylon bushing that allows side

entry and encirclement of pre-assembledharnesses, capillary tubes or other unitsthat have sections larger than the bushing's ID. They can also be assembledinto holes that already contain cable or

tubing. Fingertip pressure snaps the bushing into the mounting hole, forming a complete circle and insulation barrieragainst the raw edge of the chassis hole.

These bushings will absorb vibration,cushion and insulate cables, tubing, hosesor shafts. They feature flexible shutterswhich adjust to accommodate and supportany shape from 1/8" to a maximum

diameter of 13/16". Easily locked into itsmounting hole with simple fingertip pressure.

GRIPMASTER STRAIN RELIEFSProvides reliable terminal protection for

all types of cord-equipped appliances andinstruments where space is limited andhigh volume production is required.

Simply push the Heyco-Flex tubing orconduit onto the connector ferrule, thenhand tighten the domed sealing nut. (No disassembly means no lost parts).No threading eliminates the possibility of cutting the tubing/conduit and creating leakpaths.
