Step 1: Activate Markers Activity

o Launch Well Data Manager.o Click on “Markers” -> “Marker Activity”.oFilter “Set Name” & “Epos User”.oClick on “Select All” to select all the MarkersoClick on “Activate Selected”oAll the Markers filtered under your “Set Name” & “Epos User” becomes Activated with a green check mark as shown

Step 2: Feature Assignment (Assign Markers to Horizon)

o From Well Data Manager window.oClick on Markers.o Click on “Feature Assignment”oClick on the drop-down Arrow beside “View Marker Feature Assignment Table belonging to” & select your “Epos user”oIf one or more Horizon Assignments are missing or incorrect, use the pull-down arrow under the “Feature name” column to assign the correct Surfaces to the Marker.

Step 3: Applying Markers to Well Section

o Click inside the box beside “Well” & click +ve sign to expand .oClick +ve sign beside “Log Track” oclick inside the box beside each log.oClick inside the box beside “Marker”oThe markers for that particular well & other Markers are now correlated in the Well Section as shown.

Green check mark on the templates indicates Well connectivity. Clicking on the check mark icon will cause the check mark to disappear.

Step 4: Building a Stratigraphic Column

o From the StratEarth Window.oSelect “Correlation”->” New/Edit Stratigraphic Column”.oToggle on radio button beside “Create” & type in the new name & select Wells. oClick on “Build Column”.oLeave the Radio button check mark beside “Propose the stratigraphy on the selected wells”o Click Ok.

Step 5: Applying Stratigraphic Column to Well Sectiono RMB click on “Well”oSelect “Add Track”oSelect “Scale”oSelect “Stratigraphic” to add “Stratigraphic track” to your well section.oStratigraphic Column now appears on your Well Section.
