• Region 5 shall be an organization in which all electro and information technology professionals feel that they should be participating members and that all industries, government, and academia support IEEE as organizations and want their technical professionals to be active members

Region 5 Mission

• To enrich the experience of IEEE members in Region 5 with quality programs, career and skill development opportunities, information on IEEE services, and recognition to allow members to get the most from their IEEE membership. To participate in the community at large and interact with industry, government, and academia
