James Davis opened the doors of Gulfgate Dodge Chrysler Jeep® Ram in 2012. At the time, he had 16 employees.

Always the face of the dealership, James created a culture of customer service,

following the process and promoting from within. Today, he employs over 110. Gulfgate DCJR is ranked the top Chrysler-brand dealer and is among the 25 highest volume dealers in the Southwest Business Center.

A deeply-rooted FCA US LLC brand supporter, James has been a member of the Chrysler Minority Dealers Association for six years and served as president from 2016 to 2018. He has also been a board member of the National Association of Minority Auto Dealers since 2016.

From day one, James and Gulfgate DCJR have been committed Chrysler Capital partners. He attributes Chrysler Capital’s support for the dealership’s incremental growth, further stating that it was because of that growth he was able to renovate and expand his dealership in 2015. He is confident that his Dealer Relationship Manager, Patricia Pruneda, understands his long and short term goals and works diligently with his team to maximize on all that Chrysler Capital has to offer.

Jerry Bill grew up in Northern Iowa where he met and married his high school sweetheart. Growing up in a farming community, he worked on the family farm until presented with an opportunity to sell cars at Stew

Hansen CDJR. He’s been a fixture at the dealership ever since, working his way up to General Manager.

As one of the first dealers to earn the FCA Customer First Award for Excellence, they continue to listen and provide a trusted, easy and enjoyable experience for their customer. While the dealership is larger in size, they maintain a hometown feel for all who enter.

Jerry is instrumental in the partnership of Stew Hansen CDJR and Chrysler Capital. Consistently committed to the one-stop shopping philosophy,

Jerry directs his finance team to send all applications to Chrysler Capital.

We have seen significant increases in all areas of business year over year, including a 58 percent increase in cashed contracts. While retail is the primary focus, Stew Hansen CDJR is successfully growing their fleet and small business department, increasing 2018 sales by 15 percent year over year.

Community involvement is important to Jerry and the Stew Hansen CDJR team. Jerry helps to coordinate multiple community and charitable sponsorships at the store level. One of these sponsorships include “Shoes That Fit,” an organization that benefits more than 3,000 local elementary school students with shoes, boots and winter coats.

Adam Huff joined Fred Martin Motor Company in June 1992 as General Manager and he brought an energetic, positive perspective to the company. Fred Martin Motor Company was

acquired by Adam Huff and his brother, Duane, in May 1999, with the help of Fred and Paul Martin.

Adam formulated and organized the company’s strategies, and in doing so, rewrote the automobile marketing handbook in Northern Ohio. However, he truly shines in his ability to hand-pick a management team, which stands out as a highly-trained and motivated group of professionals.

As part of the Chrysler Capital family of dealerships, Fred Martin Superstore averages a collateral touch of over 66 percent. The Commercial Sales Team works closely with Chrysler Capital Commercial and has more than doubled their sales year over year.

In addition to having served as a board member and past president of the Akron Automobile Dealers Association, Adam is an avid supporter of Akron’s Children’s Hospital, The American Diabetes Association and various other community programs. Previously awarded the Humane Society’s highest honor, the “Animal Hero Award,” Fred Martin Auto Group works with the Humane Society of Greater Akron each year to provide food for the animals while they wait for loving homes.

Outside of the car business, Adam’s greatest loves are his wife, Robin, and children, Ashley, Cody, Nicholas and Brennan. Nothing could be more important than the time they spend together. Adam works side by side with his adult children at the dealerships everyday.

Jim Marsh’s experience in the automotive industry spans more than 50 years, but he found his home in Las Vegas when he first set foot there in 1971. His dealerships made quite the impression on the city through

unique, and humorous, car commercials written by Marsh, like the one where he sported a single wooden barrel as his outfit.

Since opening Jim Marsh Chrysler Jeep® in January of 2017, Jim and his team have been staunch supporters of Chrysler Capital. After a strong first year in business in which the store funded 247 loans with Chrysler Capital, 2018 saw that business nearly double in volume.

Jim has been an advocate with leasing products, reflected by the dealership’s 67 percent lease penetration. Additionally, he and his team saw

great success with CCAP direct mail and achieved VIP bonus payouts in 10 of 12 months during 2018.

Jim’s impact in Las Vegas goes beyond the investment in his dealership and comical advertisements; it includes his commitment to communities both in and outside the City of Lights. Through investing in multiple establishments on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Jim has provided hundreds of jobs, including in Manhattan, Nevada, more than 250 miles away from his dealerships.

He is a 10-year member of NADA’s National Board of Directors plus a past 20-year member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Nevada chapter of the America Red Cross, past President of the Southern Nevada Better Business Bureau and past recipient of the Time Dealer of the Year for Nevada.

Ashley Rankin first got his start in the automotive business when he moved to Nebraska from Wyoming, and a friend helped get his foot in the door at a local dealership. Ashley began in

sales, then an opportunity arose at Woodhouse Chrysler Dodge Jeep® Ram in Blair, Nebraska. He made the transition, and 18 years later, he still calls Woodhouse home.

After a little over a year in finance, Ashley became a general manager when Woodhouse CDJR bought a store in Missouri Valley, Iowa. During his stint, the store moved from 20 new units per month to over 250. Ashley transferred back to the original Blair location, currently the top store in the Denver Business Center, selling over 325 units per month on average.

Ashley has remained loyal to Woodhouse because of the relationships he has developed within the company. The commitment to winning and growth from everyone involved continues to drive him to excel each day. Ashley and his team also are involved in the community, annually raising over a million dollars for local food banks.

The same emphasis on growth also characterizes his relationship with Chrysler Capital. The partnership, along with positive communications with his Dealer Relationship Manager, result in better engagement with FCA US LLC to help increase sales.

Outside of Woodhouse, Ashley enjoys all things outdoors. An ideal trip for Ashley includes fishing and hitting the ski slopes with his family.

In 1957, John Vigorito Sr. opened the original Security dealership as a used car lot in Amityville, New York. The Dodge point was opened in 1983 making it one of the most successful stand-alone Dodge dealerships in the country. In 2002, the

Chrysler point was obtained, followed by the Jeep® point in 2010, completing the FCA US LLC line. Today, John’s son, Gabe, and his brother, John Jr., own and run the dealership.

Under Gabe’s and John Jr’s leadership, Security DCJR has grown to be one of the most successful dealerships in the U.S. – No. 2 in the Northeast, while maintaining a Top 5 placement in the country. They also have compiled an array of FCA US LLC awards including: Walter P Chrysler Club, Customer First Award for Excellence, Pentastar Club and Mopar Masters.

Gabe and Security DCJR have proven a great partner with Chrysler Capital, making the most of the VIP program. Through November 2018, the dealership earned $273,200 in VIP payouts.

Security DCJR is currently signed up for Chrysler Capital’s preapproved direct mailer. Having so far completed three of the six months for which they enrolled, Business Development Manager Michelle Scalise attributes at least 40 incremental sales to the mailers.

In the community, Gabe and the dealership are heavily involved in charitable activities. Organizations they work with and support include Toys for Tots, Amityville Little League, the John Theissen Sports Foundation and numerous local charities.

You may have heard the phrase, “it gets in your blood” when people talk about the auto industry. Such is the case for John Yark, who got his start at the young age of 15. He wasn’t on the sales floor though.

Instead, he was outside, mowing the lawn at a dealership once managed by his brother, Jim.

Since then, John learned the car business from the ground up. Today, he looks back and understands that having a first-hand knowledge of what every person brings to the day-to-day operation makes him a better dealer. He attributes much of the dealerships’ successes to hiring, training and keeping the best employees – something he and his brother committed to from day one.

In the true spirit of partnership, Yark Auto Group and Chrysler Capital work closely together day in and

day out. According to John, “with Chrysler Capital’s help, we have been able to not only maintain, but increase our vehicles sales volume in 2018.”

With collateral touch consistently ranging from 50-60 percent and penetration at 40 percent, the store’s Chrysler Capital lease volume has seen an increase of nearly 70 percent, year over year. On the commercial side, both teams have worked together to create a year-over-year increase of nearly 67 percent.

Working with the charity arm of the Toledo Automobile Dealers Association, John helped create Auto Dealers United for Kids (ADUK). Each year, the group donates its proceeds to area organizations in an effort to make a difference in the lives of local children.

The son and grandson of dealership owners, Rob Sickel was born into the car business. And since he currently runs three of his father, David’s, stores, including Pine Belt Chrysler Jeep®, it seems evident the

passion for the industry has been passed on.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Rob spent several years after graduation getting “real world experience” at a Miami dealership before returning home to work for his father. He then worked in every department, learning everything from what it’s like to be a parts runner, the ins and outs of purchasing and the joys of desking a deal.

For 2018, Pine Belt CJ moved into a new state-of-the-art facility – something that Rob attributes,

at least partially, to their increased profits. The new facility allowed for expanded service bays. Additionally, they acquired both the Dodge and Ram brands within the last year. It was an exciting and event-filled 2018 for Rob’s team at Pine Belt CJ.

To top it all off, new General Manager, Ahmed Fayed, led the team to a Chrysler Capital penetration growth of 16.5 percent year over year.

Outside of the dealership, Rob is an entrepreneur at heart. In addition to grooming several small businesses of his own, he has channeled his entrepreneurial energies into fundraising. He was instrumental in the recovery efforts after Hurricane Sandy and has remained an active and highly-recognized part of the community.

s FCA US LLC dealers know, returning a customer who has a lease reaching maturity back to the originating dealer for a new vehicle is a big win. And Chrysler Capital has the resources to help drive retention to get that win.

Beginning at 12 months to maturity, Chrysler Capital is actively engaged with lease customers to bring them back to the originating dealer. Through email campaigns,

lease loyalty messages in monthly billing statements and content on their personal lease webpages, customers receive competitive regional and national offers, product features, lease-end options and loyalty rewards designed to have them return to the originating dealers for future business.
