The fabric can be cleaned by vacuuming and conventionalfabric shampoos.+
Eco-friendly Sustainance
The Stretch Cara system consists of components that areeco-friendly and fully recyclable. That is, use of StretchCara is equal to conserving energy in buildings whichmeans reducing the heat, and thereby the air-conditioningcosts too. This gives the system the LEED credits.
Fire-rated Performance
The Stretch Cara system comes with a Fire HazardClassification of Class 1 or A in accordance with ASTME-84 or UL 723 testing parameters. This makes it all themore safer proposition for any space.
Warranty
The system comes with 10 years warranty which makes itall the more assured service and maintenance.^

• The wall surface is made ready byensuring it level, dry and clean.
• The fabric spanning details as perdrawings are marked on the wall.
• SB10 is installed on the wall surfaceon the marked lines with metalfasteners at 300mm centresembedded in plastic sleeves. Theholes are made with an impact drill.Any level differences in wallsurfaces are made plumb by insertingpacking shims behind the SB10.*
• The Base Tape protective cover isunpeeled on the base of the Stretchtracks.
• Stretch tracks are then installed onthe SB10 with Stitch staples at25mm centres with a staplingmachine. In the case of non-masonry walls where SB10 is notinstalled the Stretch tracks arestapled directly to drywall
• The Strand panels installed on thewall surface with M8x25mm metalfasteners that are angularly driventhrough the panel to the wall. In thecase of non-masonry walls theStrand panels are stapled afterapplying light spots of Stick S7adhesive.
• Synth PF is then friction fitted withlight spots of Stick S7 adhesive.
• Cara fabric is then aligned to the Stretch tracks by following thefabric threadline or pattern. The Cara fabric is stuck on the AlignTape (by removing the protective film) at the same as being stretchedand tucked into the Stretch tracks with the tucking tools.
Note: Each Stretch track featuresa unique dual tape mechanism- Base Tape on the base of thetrack for a true and continuoussecure grip of the track on thewall surface, and Align Tape onthe top of the track for a true andcontinuous secure grip of thefabric on the track.
*SB10 applicable for masonrywalls only

Tender Specifications
Supply and Installation of Stretch Cara system, consisting ofSoundBase 10mm thick, rigid vinyl Stretch Tracks and corematerials with requisite accessories & tools.
SoundBase SB10 is first installed on the masonry wall orStrut (for more airgap) by using Stitch fasteners at every300mm centres in a staggered pattern. SB10 shall be fixedon marked lines where tracks are to be installed.
Stretch tracks are then installed on SB10 by unpeeling theBase Tape and Stitch heavy-duty diverging staples at 25mmcenters on one/both sides of Stretch Tracks.
Install Core – Strand panels first between SB10 by usingStitch fasteners and Synth PF is then friction fitted with lightspots of Stick S7. The adhesive spots can be 50mm diadabs at 300mm centres.
Cara fabric is then aligned to the Stretch tracks by followingthe fabric thread line or pattern. The Cara fabric is stuck onthe Align Tape (by removing the protective cover) at thesame time as being stretched and tucked into the Stretchtracks with the tucking tools.
