Stretching
Begin in a pike position with both legs out straight in front of you. Bend one leg in so your foot is resting on your opposite thigh and stretch your upper body and same arm out to reach as far as you can on the straight leg and feel the stretch.
Repeat with opposite leg.
Bend both legs at the knees (have them out to the side like butterfly
wings) and have you feet meet in the middle. Bring your hands together and use your elbows to push you legs down as far as it is comfortable for
you and feel the stretch.
Standing straight with your feet shoulders width apart and your center of gravity placed over your base of support. Reaching both of
your arms straight above your head, try to touch the ceiling, and feel the stretch. This can also be done laying
down.
In a straddle position bring your left arm up straight across your body. Use your right arm and scoop under it keeping your palm facing forward. Use your right hand to push your left arm and feel the stretch. Repeat with
opposite arm.
