Stromata up to 5 mm in diam. From young to mature:

Asci 8-spored, IKI −, with a long and slender stipe. Ascospores 13–17(20) x 4.5–5.2 µm, hyaline, smooth, with 1 faint transverse septum, filled with tiny droplets which are mainly located near the cell

wall. Ascospores eventually budding small ascoconidia at their ends. Ascoconidia hyaline, aseptate,

ellipsoid or slightly allantoid, up to 6 x 1.8 µm.

Anamorph(?): found next to young, developing stromata. The (micro?)conidia are similar to the ascoconidia shown above. There are somewhat irregular, septate hyphae among the conidia.
