Strongcrete SW-81/81F/83 Repair & Restore the Structural Integrity of Concrete Strongcrete SW-81 is designed to address deep horizontal and formed structural concrete repairs. It is a two- component latex modified structural repair mortar. The unique chemistry of the modification is to penetrate the capillaries of the substrate forming a long lasting bond. SW-81 utilizes a polymer modified liquid combined with cement aggregate powder. The SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) modifier provides a low modulus of elasticity and a high flexural strength that allows the repair to flex with the substrate. As a result there is no required minimum depth. The SBR polymer serves as a superior emulsifier. The mortar contains zero VOC and is Class A rated. SW-81 can be applied from 1/8” to full depth. It can be extended using 3/8” pea gravel for depths exceeding ¾”. Typical uses are concrete repairs deeper than 3/8”, form and pour applications and leveling of irregular substrates as well as creating slope to ensure positive drainage prior to placement of traffic membranes and coatings. For shallow depth repairs of 3/8" or less the Strongcrete SW-83 is the recommended product. The physical and performance properties of the SW-83 match those of the SW-81, but provide a smaller aggregate allowing for thin overlay applications. SW-83 is typically used on scaling concrete to provide a uniform finish for subsequent coating systems. Repair & Restore the Structural Integrity of Concrete

Strongcrete SW-81 is designed to address deep horizontal and formed structural concrete repairs.

Placement of SW-81 in repair area

Advantages: ▪ Low modulus of elasticity and high flexural strength.

▪ Containment of migratory corrosion inhibitors additive suppresses corrosion of rebar.

▪ Tenacious adhesion eliminates need for sandblasting rebar or total encapsulation of steel reinforcing.

▪ SBR rubber modifier provides superior bonding ability eliminating need for saw cutting perimeters.

▪ Physical properties allow for feather edging repairs.

▪ Suitable for horizontal patches as well as form and pour applications.
