Pirate School:
What a wonderful day K/1/2 had on Friday at Pirate School.
The students had a very early start to their day, leaving Stroud Road at
5.45am.,arriving at Circular Quay shortly after 9am and then they
enjoyed morning tea at the Opera House. This was followed by a ferry
ride to the Maritime Museum to attend Pirate School. The highlight
of their day was after finding the treasure, receiving their ‘pirate
licence’. The children have also been busy back at school engaging in
‘pirate activities’. Thankyou to Mrs McNeice, Mrs Dennis and parents
for accompanying the students on this excursion. On next week’s
newsletter K/1/2 students will be publishing some stories regarding
their excursion.
Chickens:
Our three chickens have now been named by the students. These
are: KFC, Penny and Sweetie. The children have taken on the
responsibility of feeding and watering the hens and were reward-
ed yesterday with their first eggs. Well done everyone!
Have a great week!
