Advising & Enrollment Time:Student Activities and Involvement at UWM presented at 12:30pm The staff from Student Involvement will share how connecting to opportunities outside the classroom can help you advance your career, network and develop friendships, �nd your niche, and get the most from your time at UWM. You will develop an understanding of the steps to take and the resources on campus to maximize your educational experience while enjoying all that being a Panther has to offer.
The City of Milwaukee and You (Living off Campus) presented at 1:55pm Milwaukee has many perks and quirks. Learn some tips to save money and become an engaged citizen. During this session we will discuss safety and security, roommates, parking regulations, utilizing the Department of Neighborhood Services, average rental prices and much more.
The Classroom Experience for Military & Veteran Students presented at 1:15pm This session focuses on making the most of your classroom experience at UWM. We will explore the roles of instructors and staff on campus, study skills for success, and academic major and career selection.
University Housing (Living on Campus) presented at 1:55pm During this session, students will learn about living within University Housing including reviewing available on-campus housing options, details on the contracts and room assignments, student life and activities, and community standards.
University Recreation presented at 12:30pm Come learn about the �tness and recreational facilities and programs University Recreation has to offer including Sports Clubs, Intramural Sports, Fitness and Wellness and Outdoor Pursuits.
UWM Virtual Bookstore Powered by ECampus.com presented at 2:40pm During this session, participants will learn all about the resources and materials available within the Bookstore and Spirit Shop to make your time on campus successful.
UWM Technology Resources presented at 12:30pm and 1:55pm University Information Technology Services (UITS) will present the campus technology resources and services that contribute to student success. Current and future offerings will be shared along with a question and answer forum.
TOUR: University Housing presented at 2:40pm Meet in the Ballroom Lobby by the designated sign for this tour to check out a UWM residence hall. These tours will provide you an opportunity to see what living on campus is all about. These tours last 30-40 minutes.

Adult & Nontraditional Student Success Support Team presented at 1:15pm This workshop introduces adult students to the bene�ts of engaging a support team. Participants will learn about the realities of being a nontraditional learner and how to successfully manage these responsibilities. Aim High with Honors College, Study Abroad & Undergraduate Research presented at 1:15pm During this session participants will learn about the multitude of ways students can expand their academic experience at UWM. The Of�ce of Undergraduate Research, Honors College, and the Study Abroad Of�ce will share about the opportunities available within each area.
Exploring Milwaukee Through Community Service & Leadership presented at 11:20am Volunteerism and leadership are great ways to learn more about yourself and your city. The Center for Community-Based Learning, Leadership, and Research (CCBLLR) connects the campus with opportunities to lead and volunteer throughout the city. This session will discuss the various opportunities to make a difference. Campus Jobs, Off Campus Jobs and Internships presented at 1:15pm The Career Planning and Resource Center staff will guide students through the basics of UWM job websites during this hands-on session. Funding Your Education 101 presented at 11:20am This session is perfect for students new to the �nancial aid process at UW-Milwaukee and will explain the basics of getting started.
Get to Know the Multicultural Student Services Of�ces presented at 11:20am During this session, participants will learn about the variety of resources and events available at UWM focused on Multicultural Students. We will also take a brief walking tour of the Multicultural Of�ces located in Bolton Hall. Military and Veteran Student Welcome & Campus Exploration presented at 12:30pm Welcome to UWM! During this session, new military and veteran students are invited to learn more about the Military and Veteran Resource Center, the Student Veterans of America organization and the VetSuccess program on campus. You’ll also take a tour of resources to help you succeed at UWM.
PASS Your Class: Tutoring and Academic Support presented at 11:20am We will explore the academic services offered, including group tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, online resources, and academic coaching. We’ll explain how these programs differ, and the ways in which each provides support throughout a student’s academic career.
Discover, Create and Succeed at the UWM Libraries presented at 2:40pm Library Staff will lead an activity to help students discover library resources, services, and spaces that will contribute to student success. This session will demonstrate how to effectively use Search@UW, UWM's research discovery tool, to �nd appropriate resources for course assignments.
