California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS)
CALPADS (formerly CBEDS) day is Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
CALPADS is the new California Department of Education’s repository for a variety of data about school staff and enrollment.
On a specific date each year, staff at each school and the district office is required to collect and report this data.
CALPADS data is used to compute funding levels for programs including School Improvement, NCLB, Mentor Teacher, Instructional Materials, K-3 Class Size Reduction Program, Vocational Education, Tobacco Use Prevention, and Safe and Drug-Free Schools.
