The ABC’s of traffic engineering were outlined here Monday by members of the Texas Transportation Institute.
Fifty delegates to the sixth Traffic Engineering School heard lectures from Donald R. Drew and Donald L. Woods on traffic trends.
“The expansion of automobile transportation is far exceeding the provisions for highway facilities,” Drew told the city engineers, law enforcement officials and other municipal and state employees attending the five-day school.
Woods reported the results of traffic studies.

TO THE VOTERS OF PRECINCT ONE:Let me take this method of expressing to each of
those who voted for me Saturday in the Primary Election my deepest thanks and appreciation. In view of the fact that there were five of us running for the office, it was especially gratifying to me to have led my nearest opponent by 583 votes. I offer my congratulations to Jim O’Brien, G. B. Hensarling, Joel Hogan and Don Dale on the fine support that they received and I earnestly hope that those who voted for these gentlemen will give careful consideration to my past record of hard work and accomplishments for all of the people of Precinct One, and will see fit to vote for me in the run-off election on June 6th.
Again my gratitude and thanks.Sincerely,RAYMOND A. NOLAN
