Group Told Autos Exceed Facilities

The ABC’s of traffic engineering were outlined here Monday by members of the Texas Transportation Institute.

Fifty delegates to the sixth Traffic Engineering School heard lectures from Donald R. Drew and Donald L. Woods on traffic trends.

“The expansion of automobile transportation is far exceeding the provisions for highway facilities,” Drew told the city engineers, law enforcement officials and other municipal and state employees attending the five-day school.

Woods reported the results of traffic studies.
