IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
CLIENT
At this point in your course you have to really try and build up a body of live projects.
This unit gives you the opportunity to do this. Having a client gives you an insight into
working to a tight schedule with an identified brief. Please make sure that your client is
one that you can rely on for communication and is able to supply you with a great brief
that will challenge you and enable you to create professional looking work.
RESEARCH
Research is an important element of this unit and all processes and stages MUST be
backed up with solid research. This will also include your software and choices that you
make.
DOCUMENT
This is a 12 week unit and I will be expecting you to document your processes as much
as you can. Please make sure to regularly update either your blog and/or sketchbook on
a regular basis as this will aid your working practice and help you evaluate at the end.
Try to be as creative as possible in the form of this collation - you could have video
diaries and also do video screen capture of your work on the computer. You could also
document your research this way.Its hard to try and capture this at the end.
Above all try and enjoy this unit as much as possible and explore new ways of working.
SCHEDULE
6 Weeks of Lectures and feedback sessionsWeek 7 presentations
Week 10 Recap and feedback session
The rest of the time management is down to you.
