Most things in schools are controlled by adults - teachers, parents and so on

Student-led action are your ideas, turned into action by you

action?we are a community

you are part of our community, and the reason for it

people in the community make the community - this means you!

what have we had?before?

last year we had a Student Representative Council (SRC), with 2 representatives from each year level

5 Committees at Middle and Senior School levels, with a Leader for each one

A School Captain at Middle and Senior School levels

at the moment we only have a Middle School though!

5 Committees with a Leader (Application)

A School Captain (Vote)

Committees generally based on Areas Of Interaction*

If you’re not a Committee Leader or Captain you will be in a Committee

Committee Leaders can also be the Middle School Captain

Time line - Leaders

Applications for Leadership positions are due by Friday, November 4th at 5pm

Application process will take around 2 weeks, so Leaders should be announced by November 21

Time line - Captains

School Captain candidates need to nominate by Friday, November 4th at 5pm

School Captain candidates will talk to you by November 18th

School Captain vote will take place on Friday, November 18th

Middle Years Leaders and Middle Years School Captain announced on Monday, 21st November*

*may be at MYP Assembly on November 25th

The Middle School Leadership team will then attend Leadership training in December
