We are excited you wish to represent your district, and commend you for taking the initiative to further your involvement in athletic training. Please discuss this position with your Athletic Training Education Program Director, as it will require a time commitment outside of your regular coursework. We ask that you submit the signatures requested below, confirming you have read and understood the eligibility requirements. Good luck! Eligibility for Student Leadership Committee Service Must have a junior or senior standing by August 1 in the year of appointment (2017) OR have a bachelor's degree and be enrolled in a CAATE-accredited entry-level master's program. Only non-certified students are eligible to serve. Must be a student during the entire period of their term. Must be an NATA member. Must have the time and availability to effectively serve on the Student Leadership Committee. This involves o Attending the NATA Annual Meeting (PLEASE NOTE: NATA does not cover expenses incurred as a result of travel to and from committee meetings held during the annual meeting.) o Attending the Student Leadership Committee full-day meeting on Committee Meeting Day at the NATA Annual Meeting o Attending monthly 1-hour conference calls o Completing Student Leadership Committee work assignments o Remaining up to date on events and circumstances affecting the Student Leadership Committee APPLICANT By typing your name below you acknowledge you meet the eligibility requirements above.
