Go outside or to a park with your child. Take a yo-yo, a jump rope, and some chalk. Draw a hopscotch board on the sidewalk and play hopscotch together. As you play, take turns saying Look at me! I can play hopscotch. Then take turns playing with the yo-yo. As you do, say Look at me! I can (do a somersault). If you and your child are able, do some somersaults and cartwheels, saying what you both can do. Talk about other things that you can do.
