STUDENT PROSPECTUS
If you have a dream, we have the path. Let us aim for the skies together!
No dream is too big!
FACILITATING THE METAMORPHOSISFrom
ROTE LEARNING REAL LEARNING
MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS
Education is more like farming, not like manufacturing. Education institutions should be like farms, not like factories!Every child is unique and different. Every child should be treated like a sprout. Every sprout has its own demands and takes its own time to grow.
i3 Labs is envisaged to be the Farmer in this education farm.
We, at i3 labs, diagnose each student meticulously and continuously to analyse their strengths and areas of improvement. After thorough analysis, we design a customized path for them. Because of our limited classroom size we offer a highly personalized program for each student at i3 Labs. At i3 Labs, we strongly believe that there are no rote learners, but only rote teachers! At I3 Labs, learning precedes studying, thinking precedes learning.
In a big classroom of over 20 students, a faculty can only broadcast! Can never teach!! Here, we ensure that every student gets his or her share of attention from the faculty. Our classrooms are more you, less us! Engaging, energetic and enthusiastic discussions are what we call a class here, where no student is left behind.

OUR APPROACH TO HURDLESMETHODOLOGY WHEEL
OUR FACULTY• They are drawn from top universities of India
(IITs, BITS, NITs, IIITs etc.,)• They undergo rigorous pre-service and
in-service training on our methodology• Apart from being good problem solvers, they are
also nimble at understanding the needs of students and customizing accordingly
• They are patient and encourage students to ask unlimited questions in class
The key responsibility areas of our faculty are not just confined to classroom teaching! They include • classroom interaction• developing content• designing hands-on activities• paper publishing, writing articles in journals,
diagnosis of students• development of remedial content .etc.,
The quality of any education system cannot exceed the quality of its teachers.

Our perception
of a teacher
Common perception
of a teacher
We don’t call them teachers, we call them learning facilitators!
At i3 Labs, the content development is supervised by the Directors themselves who have experience in original content development not just in India, but also in countries like Singapore, which are ranked much higher than India in school education system.
Our directors are also authors of school level best sellers of Olympiad text books and Concept Maps.
At i3 Labs, we have extensively worked on our content such that it is useful for both school exams as well as all competitive exams including Olympiads. Our content is exclusively aimed at conceptual clarity, practice, speed, application, revision and assessment.
All our worksheets are graded level wise so that it becomes easy for our learning facilitators to track the progress of each child.
OUR CONTENT Straight from horse’s mouth…
Few of components of our content include
Concept BoostersNon numerical worksheet aimed at conceptual clarity in the subject
Class worksheetsDifficulty wise graded content for practice
Concept MapA single page summary of entire topic aimed at quick revision
Speed TestTest to increase calculation speed and accuracy (and also to avoid silly mistakes).
Content is same across all Boards may it be CBSE, may it be ICSE, may it be state boards. However, we prefer curriculum of certain boards and rate them higher! This is mainly not because of their curriculum but because of their robust assessment systems.
OUR ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
The strength of any curriculum is in its assessment system!
At i3 Labs, we have different types of assessments depending on the objectives. Few of them are given below.
Diagnostic TestIdentify the weak areas and give customized remedial content for each student.
Hots Assessment.Challenge the students with higher order thinking questions.
Randomized AssessmentsPractise and improve time management.
Mock TestsMock Board & competitive exams.
OUR PROGRAMSEvery Student has the Capability to Achieve great Success
Customized approach is
required for each.
In both cases, right conditions need to be created for them to Flourish

The ACHIEVERS
That is exactly what we do @
THE ACHIEVERSFlagship program of i3 Labs for students from grades VI to X who want to focus on better school grades along with competitive exams.
The program aims to improve the confidence levels of your child and instils a “can-do” attitude in them.
The program will be completely in sync with flow & curriculum followed in school and personalized with lot of faculty connect and school examination focus.
i3 Labs was able to point out the flaws where my son was going wrong in Math & Physics. They concentrated on those short comings and fixed them in a month. I am very happy with the institute as I could see him improving in the last 2 months. Faculty are pretty good as they focus on improving basics which is very essential for a child’s academic growth.

OUR PROGRAMS
THE OLYMPIANSHallmark program of i3 Labs intended for students of grades VI to X who want to focus on top ranks in competitive examinations.
The curriculum of the program is in synch with that followed in school, but varies greatly in depth and application - high competitive exam focus.
Olympians are trained for 8 to 10 different competitive exams/Olympiads depending upon eligibility criteria.
See appendix for list of Olympiads.
Classes conducted by i3 helped Nikita a lot. We are happy she could score good marks in NSEJS & feel she would have done much better had we started with i3 earlier.

In each of the following diagrams below, four points P,Q,R and S are marked. Order them in increasing order of pressure. Write your answers like P<R<S<Q, P=R<S<Q. etc.
In the following figure below, three identical test tubes A, B and C are filled with oil or water as shown.
Arrange all the points marked in decreasing order of pressure at the respective points.
Concept Boosters are a unique set of questions
designed such that they test the fundamental understanding of the
concept involved.
They are neither theoretical nor numerical questions,
and hence cannot be answered by remembering
the definition or formula.
Appendix 5: Sample Concept BoosterNon numerical worksheet aimed at conceptual clarity in the subject
The diagram here shows a cork, which can just stand a pressure of 20cms of water, before getting pushed out. Find what length of alcohol column can be just supported by the cork.(Relative density of alcohol is 0.8)
A U-shaped tube open to the air at both ends contain mercury. A quantity of water is carefully poured into the left arm of the U-tube until the vertical height of the water is 15cms. Determine value of h from the figure.
A thin uniform circular tube is kept in a vertical plane. Equal volumes of two immiscible liquids whose densities are p1 and p2, fill half of the tube as shown. In equilibrium, the radius passing through the interface makes an angle of 30o with the vertical. Find the ratio of their densities.
