Introduction to Sociology (Soc 106)

The following comments are from the final question on the official course

evaluations our department requires us to give at the end of every

semester. These evaluations are used for annual performance reviews,

promotion and tenure cases.

The prompt students are responding to is: “Please provide an overall

summary of your experience in this course”. I have copy and pasted

comments directly from the scanned original documents for the three

sections of “Intro” I taught in 2017 (Spring, Summer and Fall).

My intention is to provide prospective students a more valid source of

information about the class and my teaching than they can get from

unscientific sites like “Ratemyprofessor.com”.
